I need to draw some more awesome stuff. Feeling like I'm a bit crap lately to be honest. Not much time to do much with college and work and all...But. Todays art history lecture gave me a few ideas, and I think today instead of going home, eating and plating Morrowind/ watching Heroes, I might actually get down to some serious arty shizzle.

The subject of the lecture was abstract art and cubism. And I really got confused by the whole "the object is not the subject" business. At first. But then I kinda realised that everything I draw, I have a set idea in my head of how I want it to look at the end, and I won't stop drawing until it looks that way. So tonight I'm going to try and stray away from the usual way that I draw. I'm going to sit there with a pen and paper and see what happens.
Could be quite interesting. I'm not sure if I'll be able to empty my mind enough to just 'draw' but y'know. Gotta try at some point. I guess...


Ahh. The ramblings of a drunken fool.
Oh and also. I noticed today, all the artists that inspire me are in some shape or form, absolutely fucked in the head. Funny that...

^^ ignore him, he's drunk too. We're sat in our CAD lesson. Its quite interesting. Well actually we're supposed to be in Visual Studies but I didn't really fancy the idea of trying to paint when I'm pissed. Might screw it up somewhat... :s So. Anyway.
